Installing AssetTrack 4

Ensure that your devices meet the system requirements
AssetTrack 4 supports iOS, Androids, Windows Phones 8.1, Blackberry 10, and any HTML5 compliant browsers (Chrome, Firefox, IE 10+, Safari)
Ensure that your AssetTrack Server is correctly configured
In order to use with the app, the following needs to be ensured. You should plan for a server upgrade by scheduling it with your server operations team.
- You must have the .NET 4.5.2 Framework or higher installed.
- You must have the Visual Studio 2012 Runtime redistributable installed. Run both the x86 and x64 versions of this redistributable.
- You must have the Visual Studio 2013 C++ Runtime redistributable installed. Run both the x86 and x64 versions of this redistributable.
- You must install the AssetTrack 4 Web API, the server component that brokers communication with the app. This is a separate component from AssetTrack Server.
- You must install the AssetTrack 4 Web Client
- Your AssetTrack Server must be upgraded to 4.0 or higher.
Let AMI know that you want to evaluate or deploy the AssetTrack 4 Client App
Let us know by sending an email to AMI Sales (sales@amitracks.com) that includes:
- The number of devices you want to install with AssetTrack 4.
- Whether this is an evaluation or an actual deployment of AssetTrack 4.
Install the AssetTrack 4 Web API
You must install the AssetTrack Web API in order to use AssetTrack 4 client or AssetTrack 4 apps. See Installing the AssetTrack 4 Web API for instructions on installing the API.
Install the AssetTrack 4 Web Client
You must then install the AssetTrack Web Client in order to use AssetTrack 4 HTML5 client. See Installing Web Client for instructions on installing the API.
Installing AssetTrack 4 apps
You can get free apps on your smart phone by accessing the store for your phone and downloading the AssetTrack 4 application.
- For IOS, Download from the App Store
- For Android, Download from Google Play
- For Windows, Download from Windows store
- For Blackberry 10, contact AMI support to receive the app which you will install via your Blackberry Enterprise Server.
