Location Audit

The Location Audit allows the data collector to select the location that they are auditing and have AssetTrack pull down all the assets that have that location assigned.  You can then scan through the assets against the list, and then you can filter your results to easily figure out any problems.

First you click in the location field on the form. That will bring up a search option to search for the location that you will be auditing.  After you have selected the location you are auditing, click search. The example below shows the web browser application.

This is an example of the mobile application.

It will then find all the assets at the location. The number of assets at that location will be shown below the asset tag scan field in the asset filter menu, shown below.

You can click on the circle icon next to the number and it will show you the list of assets expected to be in that location. It will fill in grey when selected.

On the mobile application, after you search your location, this screen below will appear.  The icon on the bottom middle of screen will have the number assets expected at that location.  You can click that icon to bring up the asset filter menu.

You can click on the circle to bring up the expected asset list.

Once you start scanning the assets in the location, the list will populate and the assets will be color coded to help display what assets you are finding.  If the asset is Green, then that is an asset that is expected to be found in that location.  If the asset is Yellow with multiple diagonal lines, then that is an asset that is not expected but found in that location.  If the asset is Red with one diagonal line, then that is a rogue asset that is not in the database.  You can use the asset filter menu to easily look at the different assets you scanned.  The Red ? represents the rogue assets, the Yellow ! represents the not expected but found assets, and the Green check mark represents the expected and found.  Any assets left in expect list after you have scanned all the assets in the location are assets that are missing.  Depending on how your AssetTrack Administrator set up the form, those assets will automatically get a status set to "Missing" so you can easily filter out which assets need to be accounted for.
