Managing form permissions

Form permissions control which groups can collect data for a form as well as edit, view, and publish data in the queue. Changes made to mobile form permissions do not take effect on a mobile device until it runs a sync plan after the changes have been made.

Editing a form permissions

  1. Click on the Permissions tab to edit the permissions of the form.

  2. Click on a group to edit its permissions. The available permissions are:
    • Collect data: Users of the group can collect data using this form.
    • View data in queue: Users of the group can view data collected using this form in the queue.
    • Edit data in queue: Users of the group can edit data collected using this form in the queue.
    • Publishing data in queue: Users of the group can publish data collected using this form in the queue.

Adding a group

  1. Click on the Add... button to bring up the group list to add a group to the group list.

  2. Check the groups to add to the group list and click Add these groups to add them.

Removing a group

  1. Select a group to remove from the group list.
  2. Click on the Remove button to remove the groups from the group list.
