Installing UAPM Components for 11.3.4 (Windows 64-bit x64)

Windows Server 64-bit (x64)

To install the components in a 64 bit environment, some extra steps will need to be followed in the order as stated below.  Ensure that the prerequisites are completed prior to moving forward.  The reason behind this is that the Windows Installer package included with UAPM's setup is not supported with a 64 bit OS.

Prerequisites

  • User installing must be Admin on the machine
  • IIS installed

On the web server prior to the installation of UAPM, Check that the following are installed or install them prior to the UAPM installation as they are needed to build and access the IIS virtual directories:

  • Application Server
  • Web Server

To check if the Application and Web server are installed:

  • Open the Server manager on the web server
  • Expand Roles
  • Web Server(IIS) should be visible here

If installed, check and proceed to install according to the prompts and check that .net framework is installed.
