Once you have assigned a Master Model for one or more models, you are ready to clean those models.

You can clean one or more models at a time.

Instructions

To clean up models from a list view:

1. Select AssetTrack Model Cleanup > Models Ready for Cleaning
   Result: A list of models that have a Master Model will appear
   

2. Click the check box on the models you would like to clean up
   

3. Click the Model Cleanup button
   

   

To clean up models from a form view:

1. Select AssetTrack Model Cleanup > Models Ready for Cleaning.
   Result: A list of models that have a Master Model will appear
   

2. Click into the model that you want to clean up
   

3. In the model record click the Model Cleanup button
   

   

4. To view all of cleaned up models go to AssetTrack Model Cleanup > Cleaned Models

When a model is cleaned, AssetTrack Model cleanup will…

• All users with the x_amiam_ami_model.model_cleaner role will receive an email notification when the model cleanup completes.

• Update all assets assigned to the duplicate models to reference the Master Model

• Set the duplicate model status to “Retired”

• Set the cleaned model Model Cleanup Status to ‘Cleaned’

• Set the cleaned model Model Cleanup Date to the current date
  

  

Note: If you made a mistake and cleaned up the wrong model, go to the article Undo Model Cleanup to revert your cleanup
